Since opening our doors for business in Yellowknife in 1984, GSH crews have worked across Canada and continue to expand our base of operations into more corners of the world. We are very proud of our ties to Canada's north along with our alliance with Discovery Mining Services and Air Tindi Ltd. Together we form the Northern Services segment of Yellowknife based Discovery Air Inc., a publicly-traded aviation and remote logistics company.
Through working closely with both our Aboriginal partners and customers who represent many industries across Canada, we understand the specific challenges they face and are committed to meeting their expectations. We offer maximum value and efficiently through offering competitive cost alternatives, comprehensive integrated risk and safety management programs (IRSMS), value added services and our network of logistical software support systems and well equipped facilities.
GSH currently has seven profitable joint-venture operations around the NWT and Nunavut, including Denendeh Helicopters, Dehcho Regional Helicopters, Sahtu Helicopters, Kitikmeot Helicopters, Gwichin Helicopters, Havgun Helicopters and Kivalliq Aviation. Together these partnerships come together in the Northlinx network and allow all partners to benefit from projects requiring helicopter services.
